When I was thinking about the things that I wanted to do over the Easter school holidays I knew I really wanted to do some Spring crafts for the house and brighten the place up a bit. This is an activity which we can all get involved in, especially my 4-year-old as she is just as crafty as I am.
Looking through our craft stash I realised most of it is orientated to Autumn and Winter, so I had to remedy this immediately. I had a hospital appointment in town and as I rarely get to go, I thought I would use the opportunity to go to some shops and replenish our stock.
Obviously, each of these items was a £1 each. I got some tiny wooden pegs, foam letters and numbers, glitter alphabet stickers, some glue, spring ephemera, different types of tissue, Easter character to paint and hang, and for me…these gorgeous unicorn eggs.
Another fab cheap haul from The Works. The only thing that was over £1 were the stamp sets at £2 each. I got some fabric flower embellishments, watercolour paintbrushes, mini peg chalkboards, glue tape, a unicorn bookmark, fluorescent card a wooden bird house and box to decorate.
I have ordered some rainbow card from Amazon which is due to arrive over the next few days. I can’t wait to have a play. I have a post next week in which I will share some crafty Spring ideas with you all.
Thanks for reading.
