Tis the season for cosy nights, knitted jumpers, hot chocolate, pumpkins and gratitude. This month’s sub box is based around the autumn equinox and gratitude and I have to admint it is one of my favourite boxes so far.

I actually had the opportunity to do this month’s spell straight away. I have to say I loved it. I had so much fun with it and I really gave thought to the year past and the year ahead and what I am thankful for and what I hope for going forward. The journal is so pretty and the paper is fantastic quality. I just adore those pencils!

The Village Witch Hocus Pocus Box (Mar, Apr, May)

Hey Everyone. I’ve been super slack on writing about these three boxes due to being ill however, the time has come to unleash all of this amazingness to the wonderful internet.

I am a big fan of The Village Witch, not just as a company but as people they are just amazing and so extremely kind hearted. It is such a lovely family run business that I am happy to support in any way that I can.

I have had 4 of these boxes so far since launch and not one of them has been disappointing. You always get far more value that what you pay for and everything is made with love.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at what the contents were.

Autumnal Inspiration: My Current Writing Project

The leaves around me are starting to turn as Autumn is starting to make it’s presence felt.

Until recently I have been working on a Psychological Thriller but I needed a break from it while I figure out it’s direction. While I take this break I got started on a little paranormal story I’ve been thinking about for a while.

It goes in perfectly to this time of year as I wanted to set it at the start of Autumn. Today I sat scribbling away enjoying the last of the late summer Sun, there was a chilly bite in the air that came from a subtle breeze and I felt inspired.

My new story follows a Witch by the name of Freya who is hiding from her Coven. Freya is only young and has a lot to learn but she is incredibly gifted.

We journey with her through many ups and downs as she adjusts to a new life in a sleepy town where not everything is as it seems.

I am really enjoying writing this and doing research as I want it to be as authentic as possible to the Wiccan religion.

It’s also been really nice to work on something that isn’t as dark as my psych thriller.

Hopefully I will be able to share something with you all soon.

Thank you for reading.
