Hello and Welcome to another instalment of Confessions Of A Plannerholic.

Let’s get cracking!

1) Bookmark – Any book lover loves a good bookmark. If you are anything like me you can never have too many.

2) Washi tape – This is perfect to pop in a stocking as a little surprise.

3) Memo pad/Sticky notes – Another great little addition.

4) Wax Melt or Candle – Preferably book themed from one of the amazing stores on etsy. Most book lovers are obsessed with these to accompany them on their reading journey.

5) Magnetic page markers – 2 birds with one stone if you pick something bookish such as Harry Potter.

6) Pens –  We all love a good pen!

7) Charms – Also another great one for booklovers and planners. Charms make a beautiful accessory

8) Socks – Booklovers love socks. Book themed Harry Potter socks, Alice socks, fluffy socks.

Confessions Of A Plannerholic: Top 10 Blogs

I don’t know about you but I love reading other blogs. I find them inspiring and helpful. Not all of the blogs I read are planner related but the majority are.
Today’s post is a list of my top 10 blogs.

  1. How To Gyst – I have been following Laura for well over a year now and her blog is one that I go back to frequently. I love how honest she is about everything and how practically inspiring she is. There is a wealth of information on Laura’s blog and definately worth a good read.
  2. Philofaxy – This is a site ran primarily by Steve Morton. It has a mass of knowledge about all things paper planning. There is also a great section of printables to be found on here as well.
  3. A Beautiful Plan – Kelly Vizma is the face behind A Beautiful Plan. Not only does she run a lovely little business and creates the most gorgeous stickers she also has a great blog full of prettiness, tips and tricks.
  4. UglyBugDoes – I maybe a little biased here as Michelle is a real life friend as well as a planner buddy but her blog is great. It isn’t just all stationery and pretty planners but she also discusses life, children and health. A full mix of everything Michelle:)
  5. Geraldine Jayne – Geraldine is such an inspiration. Her blog is full of positive vibes and colour. This has to be my number 1 creative inspiration site.
  6. Strange & Charmed – Ran by Alexis aka Miss Trenchcoat, Strange & Charmed is a fantastic site for productivity and efficency. Alexis also runs many free webinars to join which help boost productivity and she has alot of online buisness resources.
  7. The Literary Llama – One of my absoutely favourite book blogs. I love the way the reviews are done.
  8. ReadSleepBlog – Not only does this blog contain book reviews but there are numerous challenges which one can partake in. It’s fun and lively.
  9. Wonderfully Bookish – I love this blog, I don’t have any other reason than I just do. I love all the information Charlotte posts and her reviews.
  10. Saturday On Wednesday – I have so much love for this blog it’s unreal. I adore everything about it. The content is so funny ( and you should watch her youtube Book_Roast videos). The content is honest when doing reviews and G isn’t afraid to tell it how it is. The content is hugely varied as well so there is something for everyone.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my top 10 blogs and that you find something on them which you also will enjoy. I really could have added at least 5 more.

Please do not forget to take a look at all the other beautiful ladies blogs that are taking part.

Confessions Of A Plannerholic: My Top Rated Must See Films

For this weeks instalment we are looking at our favourite all time most bestest films.

This was quite a difficult one for me as we were to pick 10, when I probably could have picked 100.

The List!

Breakfast Club (1985)- This is a perfect easy watch, feel good, teen angst film. One of my favourite songs plays out at the end as Judd Nelson fist pumps the air, with such a great sountrack how can one resist.

Everything about this film is great, I love to watch it when I’m not feeling 100%, it’s a rainy day or I’m bored. I must watch it at least twice a year.

Goonies (1985) – Another 80’s classic which shouldn’t surprise anyone since it’s my fav era. This is my ill film, whenever I’m sick it goes on. Ir reminds me of when I was a kid and layed up on the sofa with a blanket when I was poorly. It’s such a comforting film.

Legally Blonde (2001) – This film despite is feel good comedic value is actually quite inspiring. It fills me full of hope. Morale of the story…If Elle Woods can do it so can you! It’s just amazing!

Erin Brockovich (2000) – This film has it all. I laugh, I cry, I feel…it’s just brilliant from start to finish. The fact it’s based on a real story is just crazy, what the people must have suffered. Erin…seriously what a woman.

If you haven’t seen this I must advise you do! Now lol!

The Day After Tomorrow (2004) – I’m a bit of a disaster film nut which is great way to prepare for these events happening lol. I love this film, especially in the winter months all cosy and warm. Little bit of eye candy with the gorgeous Jake Gyllenhaaul who I love in every film he has done.

Practical Magic (1998) – This was thw year I left school and I saw this at the cinema so many times. At 16 I really thought I could make myself into a witch and be as awesome as these gals were. This is a great film and so funny 🙂

Pretty In Pink (1986) – One word…Ducky!  Man he gives me the feels. Why doesn’t she just be with him, he’s so sweet and funny. All the way through this film I still hope even though I’ve seen it a thousand times. Another 80’s classic from me:)

Revenant (2015) – What? A serious film! Yes I know but come on have you seen it? Absolutely magnificent!  Leo at his best and I actually hated Tom’s role in this film, what a nob! And that’s putting it mildly. I cried so hard through this but wow amazing. The cinematography was mind blowing.

Zodiac (2007) – Another Jakey film. I am obsessed over crime stories like this. Based on a real life story that occurred in America and still goes unresolved. It’s a great piece of work and portrays the darkness of the whole situation.

The Hills Have Eyes (2006) – One of my fav psychological thrillers. I can actually see this happening in real life and that is a scary prospect. The films was done brilliantly and always has me on the edge of my seat.

That’s my 10 and I hope that I’ve inspired you to sit and watch something epic.

I’d love to know what your favourite films are.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to check the other girls out.
