Blog Tour: Snowflakes Over Holly Cove by Lucy Coleman {Review}

Snowflakes Over Holly Cove 2

Hey everyone,

Today I have a review for you for the cosy novel by Lucy Coleman, Snowflakes over Holly Cove.

Blurb

As the snowflakes start to fall, Holly Cove welcomes a new tenant to the beautiful old cottage on the beach…

For lifestyle magazine journalist Tia Armstrong, relationships, as well as Christmas, have lost all their magic. Yet Tia is up against a Christmas deadline for her latest article ‘Love is, actually, all around…’

So, Tia heads to Holly Cove where the restorative sea air and rugged stranger, Nic, slowly but surely start mending her broken heart.

Tia didn’t expect a white Christmas, and she certainly never dared dream that all her Christmas wishes might just come true…

Set in Caswell Bay on the stunningly beautiful Gower Coast, the cottage nestles amid the limestone cliffs and the woodlands, where the emotions run as turbulently as the wind-swept sea.

As cosy as a marshmallow-topped mug of cocoa, fall in love with a heart-warming festive story from the bestselling author of The French Adventure.

Review

What a perfectly cosy way to spend evenings! Reading about Tia’s life and those who she meets along her not just physical but emotional journey. I really enjoyed Snowflakes over Holly Cove. The story was written well and made me feel warm and snug, perfect for reading with a hot chocolate in your hand.

The story pace and flow was very natural and I found myself really wanting to invest not only in How’s character but also in Olwyn, Nic and Max’s lives.

Bit all sunshine and butterflies the story focuses on some rather hard topics such as the death of a parent but it is done in a way that doesn’t bring you down, and still gives empathy for the main character.

Such a perfect autumnal and winter read, I cannot wait to see what else Lucy comes out with.
