Hobbycraft Geometric Planner Review

Hey Everyone.

Everyone went a bit barmy earlier this year when Hobbycraft released a range of Planners.

For £12 I thought it was definitely worth a look so after much deliberation I ordered the Geometric planner.

I was actually really surprised and happy when it came. It’s very pretty but the best thing is the quality of it. The paper is beautiful and thick.

I am using this as a blog planner. As the pages are already decorated it means it serves an entirely functional purpose as I don’t feel the need to decorate it.

The layout is not like anything I’ve seen before in a planner which makes it really unique. There is room for ideas, notes, to do lists, goals, a monthly overview and a week on 2 pages.

It also has an internal pocket on the inside cover and comes with 3 sheets of coordinating stickers.

Overall I’m really impressed with it. I have started using it as I plan my blog posts in advance.

I am determined to stick with it for the entire year this time.

Planner Sticker Set Giveaway!

Hey Everyone 🙂

Today I bring you a Giveaway.  This is in part to celebrate my 500 followers on Instagram but also to promote a lovely little sticker shop.

I was gifted 2 sets of stickers from ManagingMischiefCo,  one for myself and one for my readers.

Now I had the choice of sets and while there were some beautiful seasonal ones to pick from I picked something that can be used any day of the year.

The set is called the Pause and Reflect set. I intend to use mine for the first week in January. Why? because after the busy festive period it is the perfect time to Pause and just take a breathe and Reflect on the year passed and goals for the year ahead.

This set is crisp, simple and elegant and I cannot wait to pop them in my new 2017 planners.

So what are the Giveaway details you nay ask. Please follow the instructions below to enter.
1) Giveaway is open Internationally.

2)  Giveaway closes on 20th December and will be posted 21st December.

See Vintage Rose Studios Planner Stickers

*Disclaimer : I am part of the Vintagerosestudios Design Team and received these stickers for free. All opinions are my own and unbiased *

Weeeee I received my first Vintage Rose Studios design team package arrived on Saturday and I was absolutely thrilled. There was so much to chose from.

The sticker kits sent were all Christmas and winter themed and are absolutely stunning. I also received some functional stickers which will come in really handy.

I received a mix of repositional, glossy and matt stickers in various sizes as I use a mix of planners.

The first kit is my favourite, it’s the Christmas in the Park kit and totally gorgeous.

The next kit is the Christmas Shopping kit.

Next is the Gingerbread Christmas kit.

Then we have the December kit.

Then there were these functional stickers. A set of Social Media icons and some Header stickers.  There was also this cute sampler.

I can’t wait to use these kits. I will be posting on Sunday a My Week Planning post in which I will show how I have used them.

Also, as we know Black Friday is imminent and of course that means some brilliant discounts for everyone. Please see the picture below for details.

UglyBugDoes October Box

*Disclaimer – I received this box free of charge for being a member of Ugly Bug Does Design Team. This does not influence my opinion in anyway and all my comments are my own*

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”… That’s what I am singing with this amazing box.

This is such a bittersweet post as it is my last month as part of the design team as Michelle has decided to try a different way to manage and promote the boxes.

This is by far my favourite of all the boxes I have been lucky enough to receive.

So without further ado this is what was included;

* Sticker Kit themed for winter.

* Snowman sticky notes

*Snowflake metal paperclip

* Blue fine point nib pen

* Winter themed charm

The snowflake clip was my favourite item, unfortunately it has gone walk about and Michelle is kind enough to send me another YAY!

If you are interested in purchasing a Subscription box or one of the new Uglydori’s then please see the link Here.

My Week: Halloween in my ECLP

On Monday I shared with you the Halloween spread for my A5 planner and today I will show you the upcoming week in my new ECLP.

I decided not to go with a full week of Halloween in this planner and instead have dedicated the day for it and the rest to autumn.

The Halloween and Walking Dead stickers were from ThePlumpPlanner and the autumn stickers are from ABeautifulPlan .
This isn’t exactly the most pretty of spreads but I am aiming for more functionality over pretty this week to see how I can combine both aspects without losing my productivity.

My College Planner and Set-Up

As some of you may remember I posted about a month ago about how I was due to start college again in September and as struggling with what options were available.

Well now I have gone back and I have sorted my planner situation out.

Let’s have a look at what I opted for…

The Planner: Pause Large by Kikki-K

I received this planner in a swap and initially  had no idea what I was going to do with it. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it as my experience with Kikki-K planners has been a little hit and miss. My favourite is a Kikki-K but I have found most of there others planners are quite bulky without even adding the inserts.
However once I added all my bits and pieces to it, it turned out to be pretty perfect. It won’t fit much in there in the way of actual lesson work but I don’t intend on adding anythign like that other than Key Notes sheets. This is primarily as a diary and schedule keeper.

To compliment this I purchased a ARC disbound A5 notebook. This is perfect as they have both have the same colour scheme and I can add the A5 sheet into my planner if it is something that is important.

I really like this set up, it’s pretty, simple and effective.
Do you study? If so what are you using? I’d love to hear from you 🙂
