Royal Planner PR Goodies {Autumnal Love}

Autumn is in the air and as such it’s everywhere else too. In my home decor, my clothing choice and more importantly in my planners.

I was sent this little package of autumnal gorgeousness from The Royal Planner as I am part of her PR team.

I was blown away by the colours and images of these items. The dashboards are all beautiful as are the acetate pieces. Just look at the ephemera and paperclips as well! It’s all so perfect! That little Fox…Foxes are one of my fav animals and it’s just so wonderful.

The Royal Planner shop is currently on a temporary site until host changes have been made but you can find everything you need here and don’t forget you can use the code Emma15 for a 15% discount.

Autumnal Inspiration: My Current Writing Project

The leaves around me are starting to turn as Autumn is starting to make it’s presence felt.

Until recently I have been working on a Psychological Thriller but I needed a break from it while I figure out it’s direction. While I take this break I got started on a little paranormal story I’ve been thinking about for a while.

It goes in perfectly to this time of year as I wanted to set it at the start of Autumn. Today I sat scribbling away enjoying the last of the late summer Sun, there was a chilly bite in the air that came from a subtle breeze and I felt inspired.

My new story follows a Witch by the name of Freya who is hiding from her Coven. Freya is only young and has a lot to learn but she is incredibly gifted.

We journey with her through many ups and downs as she adjusts to a new life in a sleepy town where not everything is as it seems.

I am really enjoying writing this and doing research as I want it to be as authentic as possible to the Wiccan religion.

It’s also been really nice to work on something that isn’t as dark as my psych thriller.

Hopefully I will be able to share something with you all soon.

Thank you for reading.

Plan With Me 28th Aug to 3rd Sept

Hey everyone. Today I went very much autumnal in my planner. I used the Hello Autumn kit from My Planner Loving Heart.

I adore this kit and there was a huge sale where it was only £3…who could resist! You got so much with it that it will easily do me another 2 spreads.

I teamed it with my functional stickers from Your World of Colour and some autumnal washi I had.

Planner Pretties Haul: Christmas In July Event

Planner Pretties Haul.png

Well…July was a no spend month for me. In an aim to reduce my spending and save for Christmas and Birthday’s that are all due between October and December.

I was doing really really well until…the Christmas In July Planner Sale Event at the end of the month. Then I went a litttttle crazy. I purchased a fair few printable inserts which I’m not going to show you and I also purchased many many stickers and a gorgeous paperclip.

Here is a picture of my haul.

The Shops….

I ordered from (top row to bottom row) Notes and ClipsFabPlannerPrintCherryBlossomintheMarketSquare and HazyDaysUK.

It’s safe to say I won’t need any stickers for a while, certainly not for Halloween and Christmas.

I also learnt a very important thing….no spends just lead to binge spends where ultimately I spend more. Lol.

I’d love to see any of your Christmas In July hauls.

My Week: Halloween in my ECLP

On Monday I shared with you the Halloween spread for my A5 planner and today I will show you the upcoming week in my new ECLP.

I decided not to go with a full week of Halloween in this planner and instead have dedicated the day for it and the rest to autumn.

The Halloween and Walking Dead stickers were from ThePlumpPlanner and the autumn stickers are from ABeautifulPlan .
This isn’t exactly the most pretty of spreads but I am aiming for more functionality over pretty this week to see how I can combine both aspects without losing my productivity.

Confessions Of A Plannerholic: Autumn Planner Set-up

Today’s Confessions instalment is all about our Autumn Planner set-up.

I almost didn’t make this one as I was waiting the brand new Carpe Diem Reset Girl Ballerina planner to arrive after it’s release had been delayed a few times.

Luckily the postman brought me it this morning as Michelle at UglyBugDoes had posted them out first thing Friday.

I love the colour of this planner and while it isn’t the traditional orange or brown that most people go for I do love how cosy the pink is.

I’ve managed to set it up and aside from a couple of paperclips that I am waiting for it’s all ready to go:)

I will post pics of my set-up and links to the relevant shops.

Stickers by Beautiful Planning and Filofablouss

Inserts are part of the new Carpe Diem Reset Girl range.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to drop by these beautiful ladies also taking part.

Confessions Of…Autumn Bucket List

There has been a slight change to our Confessions Of Series.  We have decided to include a variety of posts across on genres. Every two weeks however the post will be stationery and planner orientated.

Today’s post is a Bucket list, our Autumn Bucket list to be precise.

I love this time of year. From September to January is my time to shine so to speak. I adore everything about it so getting stuck into a bucket list wasn’t an issue for me. I made a whole dedicated page in my planner specifically for it.
Let’s take a look at my list before we look at the pretty page 🙂

1) Luxury Hot Chocolate. By this I mean totally indulgent full fat, loads of mallows and a sprinkling of chocolate type hot chocolate.

2) Start Knitting. This is a little deceiving as I do already know but haven’t done it for years so I’d like to pick it back up again.

3) Collect Leaves and Conkers. Pretty self explanatory love to collect these and acorns for autumn crafts.

4) Go on a Pinecone hunt. The kids and I love to collect these in Autumn ready to make winter crafts with.

5) Watch Serendipity.  I guess it’s more of a winter film but I watch it every year during Autumn. It’s a traditional thing.

6) Light a Sparkler. Autumn is is the season for Guy Fawkes and sparklers are a must. Any night they are beautiful and simple. They bring back great childhood memories.

7) Light a bonfire. This doesn’t just have to be for bonfire night. It’s great for any crisp chilly evening. What’s better than a cosy bonfire and hot chocolate!

Remember to have a perusal of the other ladies taking part in the Confessions series:)

My Handbag Planner

A little while ago I bought the Nordic Nights personal planner from Paperchase.

I didn’t have a purpose for it and have struggled to find one since.

I did have it as a kind of notebook planner to pop in my bag but still didn’t utilise it’s use.

However I now have!

While it still will be in effect a type of notebook, it is now a sectioned notebook.

I have put in sections relevant to all myat home planners so things will stay organised when I jot them down before transfer them to there proper planner.

So the sections I have are:

* Diary

* TSGBB (Business)

* Blog

* Follow Up

* Notes

* Fall

* Winter

Most sections pretty much self explanatory. I have one for my blog, business, diary, follow-up and notes.

Under the Fall section I will put my autumn bucket lost, crafts, films, baking etc.

Under Winter I will have the same elements as Fall with an additional part for Christmas presents, cards and budgets.

I’m really happy with it now. It’s handy and functional and I am hoping it will be of more use.

I love the design and given the Impending change of season makes me want to use it even more.
