Confessions Of A Plannerholic: My Top Rated Must See Films

For this weeks instalment we are looking at our favourite all time most bestest films.

This was quite a difficult one for me as we were to pick 10, when I probably could have picked 100.

The List!

Breakfast Club (1985)- This is a perfect easy watch, feel good, teen angst film. One of my favourite songs plays out at the end as Judd Nelson fist pumps the air, with such a great sountrack how can one resist.

Everything about this film is great, I love to watch it when I’m not feeling 100%, it’s a rainy day or I’m bored. I must watch it at least twice a year.

Goonies (1985) – Another 80’s classic which shouldn’t surprise anyone since it’s my fav era. This is my ill film, whenever I’m sick it goes on. Ir reminds me of when I was a kid and layed up on the sofa with a blanket when I was poorly. It’s such a comforting film.

Legally Blonde (2001) – This film despite is feel good comedic value is actually quite inspiring. It fills me full of hope. Morale of the story…If Elle Woods can do it so can you! It’s just amazing!

Erin Brockovich (2000) – This film has it all. I laugh, I cry, I feel…it’s just brilliant from start to finish. The fact it’s based on a real story is just crazy, what the people must have suffered. Erin…seriously what a woman.

If you haven’t seen this I must advise you do! Now lol!

The Day After Tomorrow (2004) – I’m a bit of a disaster film nut which is great way to prepare for these events happening lol. I love this film, especially in the winter months all cosy and warm. Little bit of eye candy with the gorgeous Jake Gyllenhaaul who I love in every film he has done.

Practical Magic (1998) – This was thw year I left school and I saw this at the cinema so many times. At 16 I really thought I could make myself into a witch and be as awesome as these gals were. This is a great film and so funny 🙂

Pretty In Pink (1986) – One word…Ducky!  Man he gives me the feels. Why doesn’t she just be with him, he’s so sweet and funny. All the way through this film I still hope even though I’ve seen it a thousand times. Another 80’s classic from me:)

Revenant (2015) – What? A serious film! Yes I know but come on have you seen it? Absolutely magnificent!  Leo at his best and I actually hated Tom’s role in this film, what a nob! And that’s putting it mildly. I cried so hard through this but wow amazing. The cinematography was mind blowing.

Zodiac (2007) – Another Jakey film. I am obsessed over crime stories like this. Based on a real life story that occurred in America and still goes unresolved. It’s a great piece of work and portrays the darkness of the whole situation.

The Hills Have Eyes (2006) – One of my fav psychological thrillers. I can actually see this happening in real life and that is a scary prospect. The films was done brilliantly and always has me on the edge of my seat.

That’s my 10 and I hope that I’ve inspired you to sit and watch something epic.

I’d love to know what your favourite films are.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to check the other girls out.

Plan With Me #3

Hello!

Sorry I have not done a plan with me for a while but I have been quite busy sorting out the new house.

This week’s decoration has been brought to you by the lovely Mrs Brimbles.

I have gone for a retro themed week this week, bringing it back with an 80’s feel (My fav era and years of my youth).

I like to keep things quite simple with decoration as I find too much tends to clutter my pages then my planner becomes less functional.

The stickers from Mrs Brimbles are her exclusive design, I love them so much I ended up ordering two more sets after this one arrived.

I also used the functional stickers from Small Stuff Creations that I linked in previous posts.

The glasses washi I believe was from Hobbycraft and the geometric design was from Lava Lamp Designs on etsy.

I did some funky little designs with some of my writing too as I’m really wanting to get more creative with my planning.

This is my finished look so far:)

I may start including my blog planner in the Plan With Me posts too, as I have recently started adding a little decoration to those pages too.

Thanks for reading:)
