Now this may not seem like a huge thing to most people but for us planner gals and guys spending 6 months in one planner is quite an achievement. You see, many of us suffer from what is known as Magpie Syndrome. This is when we spend lots of money on new and shiny planners to find that after 1-2 months they inevitably end up sat on a shelf unused.
I started using my current panner aka the faux weeks at the start of October and I can honestly say I have never been happier. Yes I use the Scribbles That Matter Bullet Planner along side it but my trusty weekly planner is always by my side.
Not only is it small enough to fit in all my bags, it isn’t heavy and has room to make notes.
I don’t feel the need to have to dress this up either. Some weeks are completely plain, others are full of colour and decor. This is my everything and it has never let me down or left me wanting more.
I am a little ashamed to say that over the years I have spent hundreds on finding this sort of peace with my productivity and organisation and the best bit? It cost around £6 with free delivery. I mean…I could have saved myself a small fortune and had a nifty little holiday. If you want to have a look at this little beauty you can do so <here>
I can safely say that in the last 6 months I have learnt a few things about myself;
- I don’t need a fancy planner
- I don’t need all the fancy planner accessories
- I don’t need or use kits, at least not full boxes
- Cheap does not equate to bad quality.
Now I have learnt all these things, I am sure the next 6 months will be spent more productive and less unhappy.
Thanks for reading.
